Install & use exhaust fans that are vented to the outdoors in kitchens and bathrooms to minimize moisture and pollutants that vaporize from hot water.
Ventilate the attic and crawl spaces to prevent moisture build up.
Keep the house clean frequent cleaning can reduce dust mites, pollens, animal dander.
Inspect all air handling & heating systems. Make sure all venting is free of blockages, cracks or leaks and installed properly. Check heat exchanges for holes or cracks. Make sure all combustion flames are adjusted correctly.
Upgrade you filtering system. A Merv 16 filter is 95% efficient and will trap bacteria.
Install a heat recovery ventilator to bring fresh air into the home.
